Vielha, the capital of the Aran Valley, is a typical small Pyrenean village offering all the beauty of the area where green fields alternate with snow covered mountain peaks and where the light reclaims protagonisim of its own.

Its nature surroundings, its customs and its own language is what it gives the Aran Valley and Vielha its uniqueness and attractiveness during the whole year. All seasons have their own magic and make it worth the visit.

 

During the whole year in the old part of Vielha you will find a big variety of restaurants and bars which completes the leisure facilities of the village.

The Aran Valley is situated in the central part of the Pyrenees and offers due to the famous ski and winter sport resort Baqueira/Beret a great touristic infrastructure.

It is well known for its beauty of landscape, the high mountain forests, its focus on wild life preservation, the overall gastronomy of its small and picturesque villages, the religious patrimony of the romanesque and gotic time and the middle-aged houses in Vielha.
